Aerosolex LLC has received authorization for the construction of a “High purity dimethyl ether (DME) production plant with the capacity of 10,000 tons per year” by Dzerzhinsk municipal administration of Nizhny Novgorod region on August 7, 2017. Previously the construction project for the high purity dimethyl ether (DME) production plant has received a positive review on the design documentation and the results of engineering surveys from FAO «GLAVGOSEXPERTIZA of RUSSIA» No. 693-17 / GGE-11147/02 dated June 27, 2017.
The project of the Aerosolex company which was approved by Glavgosexpertiza of Russia involves construction of a new high purity dimethyl ether production plant whose products will be used as propellants in aerosol production for cosmetics and household purposes, and for production of construction sector goods. The high purity DME is also used as a foaming agent in construction packing materials production and also as a cooling agent in other spheres.
The new production plant will be located in the territory of Aerosolex industrial site in the Eastern industrial area of Dzerzhinsk town in Nizhny Novgorod region.
CEO of Aerosolex LLC Azat Gafarov has commented: «The pre-construction activities on the construction site started in May 2017. The contracting of the main technological equipment is finished and the launch of the plant is now scheduled for the first half of 2018. The project is aimed at supplying the markets of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union countries with high purity dimethyl ether. Nowadays there is no production of high purity dimethyl ether in Russia.”
